This is a once-in-a-lifetime blog post. I’m going to share a powerful point in exactly one hundred words.
As a child, I often heard my pastor, B.B. Hankins (you can tell that he was a Texan because the B.B. stood for Billy Bob) say, “If anyone should ask if you pray in other tongues, respond with a ‘you mean you don’t?'” In other words, Pastor Hankins was showing that throughout the Book of Acts, it was normal and expected for New Testament believers to pray in other tongues. Anything less would be considered abnormal Christianity.
Let’s be New Testament normal!
Ha Ha, I have always wanted to do this and yet I haven’t had the opportunity to do so.
More than just praying in the Spirit. Salvation, The Word, and all things pertaining to God in general. Love you Pastor Billy, may He ^^^ Bless you today!
Ron, I agree one million percent. It’s time for a lot of “you mean you don’t?” responses to naysayers. Let’s be New Testament!
Love Pastor BB Hankin’s quote. Will be ready with that response at next opportunity. Thank you Pastor Billy!
Charles, I am a blessed man to have had the privilege of sitting under his ministry, hearing and seeing him work together with the Holy Spirit. Much of what you see today in me came from what I “caught” from him.
