In case you haven't discovered in the last 8+ years of my writing this blog, I love the Holy Spirit. He constantly amazes me. Here's an example of the Holy Spirit at work ... While reading the Word the other day, the Holy Spirit interrupted my reading to share a simple and yet powerful truth. Mind you, this had nothing to do with what I was reading. But, in His defense, it is His job to teach me, bring things that I already know to the forefront of my mind, reveal the Father's thoughts, etc. (John 14:26; John 16:13) at any given time. Thank God for Post-it Notes. They are a Texas-size help in enabling me to remember key thoughts during telephone conversations, what groceries to buy at the grocery store (Vickie will say an amen because without the notes I usually come home with just Cheetos, Blue Bell ice cream, Dr Pepper, and Double Stuff Oreo cookies), and the street address that I'm looking for while I'm driving. What’s Your Story?
We've come a long way from the days when Vickie and I first started in children's ministry back in the late 1970's.
