Let me take you back to your college days. In preparing for the upcoming semester, I’m sure that you can remember reading through the offered classes and noticing courses scattered throughout the list with a “101” attached to its title. In using the 101, the college informed us that this class would provide the basics or foundational information on a particular subject. Future advanced classes would be based on the basics found in that introductory class.
I know that there are many today needing to receive healing. I also know that sadly little teaching is provided today and a “101” foundation based upon God’s Word is so desperately needed. The “Divine Healing 101” is found in the words “all” and “thy” in this scripture.
“Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;”
Psalm 103:3
Allow me to impress you. Did you know that in the 4,664 times that the word “all” is used in the King James Version of the Bible, it literally means all, not some or an occasional, select few? Impressed? No sin is excluded. Absolutely no transgression is too big or too small, too horrid or too insignificant. A-L-L sins are forgiven.
Are you ready to get excited? The A-L-L of the forgiveness of sin is the very same A-L-L for the healing of our spirit, soul, and body. There are no exceptions. We see this exemplified in the ministry of Jesus who healed “all manner of sickness and all manner of disease” (Matthew 4:23) indicating that no chronic and serious disease or occasional illness is exempt from His healing power. We also read that He healed “every sickness and every disease” (Matthew 9:35) indicating that absolutely no sickness is too big or too small, too horrid or too insignificant.
Here is the second divine healing power word. It’s the word “thine” or “thy”. Can it get any simpler? The God who forgives YOUR sins is the God who heals YOUR sickness and disease. You are not exempt from God’s healing power. The “thy” is “my”! We can know that we know that we know that God heals MY body, mind, and spirit!
That’s it. The foundation is laid for your healing. So, with that in mind, the Divine Healing 101 class is dismissed. In the words of the great Looney Tunes philosopher Porky Pig, “Th-th-th-that’s all folks!”
