Here’s a no-brainer … if you have two apples and then add two more apples, you can rest assured that you will now have four apples. Too simple? Well, it should be. Adding two plus two will always equal four. Always has, always will. It’s just a given!
Ready for another no-brainer? This New Testament given will have you up on your feet and shouting. I recently heard Reinhard Bonnke share …
“If we preach the original gospel, we will have the original results.”
~ Reinhard Bonnke
Isn’t that powerful? You have my permission to shout for a couple of minutes. Okay, sit back down and pause your shouting for a couple of minutes. Let me ask the question that I asked when I gave the first no-brainer about the apple arithmetic equation. Too simple? Well, it should be. Always has, always will. It’s just a given!
The apostle Paul tells us …
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is
the power of God unto salvation to every one that
believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
Romans 1:16
The original good news or gospel that Paul wrote about hasn’t changed one iota. God hasn’t added or taken away or altered anything! And, the original power (Greek … dúnamis … supernatural power and ability) found in this original gospel hasn’t disappeared or weakened. Each and every word found in the gospel is still at 100% strength capacity today. Ready for this? Here’s the part that I love, love, love. (Now keep your shouting on hold for one more minute!) When preached/shared, this original gospel will produce the very same results … salvation (Greek … sōtēría … deliverance, safety, preservation, healing, and soundness). If that was true when he wrote this to the Romans, it is true today. It always has and always will reap the very same original results.
I’ll quit writing so that you can get back to shouting and then go put God’s power on display to the world.
