I can’t help it. I wrote it over and over again in the last blog post, but it bears repeating. Thank God for the Holy Spirit. I am so thankful that He is on the job working in the life of the believer 60/60/24/365. Not only does He prepare our spirit for the day (blog post #1), the Word shows us…
The Holy Spirit – Prepares Those You Will Encounter in Your Day
We’ve all encountered settings where those around appear to be cold and indifferent to the message. Their hearts are hard thus making it difficult for the Word to penetrate and take root. But, thank God for the Holy Spirit! As we start our day praying in the Spirit, the Holy Spirit is not only working in us (blog post #1), He is on the job taking the role of a farmer who tills the soil for the planting of the seed. With His enablement, while we are clueless about our unfolding day, we can still effectively, powerfully till the soil (intercede) in advance for those who will cross our path. Hallelujah! Hearts will be made ready for our “such as I have give I thee” (Acts 3:6). Thank God for the Holy Spirit!

Romans 8:26
KJV – Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
AMP – So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance.
JOHN – In addition to hope, we also have the Spirit, who compensates for our inadequacies. For example, because we don’t know the proper way to pray, the Spirit enables us to commune with God through our groans which are never formed into words.
KNOX – Only, as before, the Spirit comes to the aid of our weakness; when we do not know what prayer to offer, to pray as we ought, the Spirit himself intercedes for us, with groans beyond all utterance.
PHI – The Spirit also helps us in our present limitations. For example, we do not know how to pray worthily, but his Spirit within us is actually praying for us in those agonizing longings which cannot find words.
TRANS – This is how the Spirit too comes to our help in our weakness; for we know neither what to pray for nor how to pray for it, but the Spirit himself approaches God for us with our inarticulate cries.
WUE – And in the same manner also the Spirit lends us a helping hand with reference to our weakness, for the particular thing that we should pray for according to what is necessary in the nature of the case, we do not know with an absolute knowledge; but the Spirit himself comes to our rescue by interceding with unutterable groanings.
