I know that me sharing that I love “The 60/60/24/365 Holy Spirit” blog series title makes it seem like I am bragging on myself. Honestly, I’m not. I just love it because it is a great reminder of the fact that the Holy Spirit is always on the job. Unlike some union jobs, He doesn’t get a 15-minute break after working four hours. He doesn’t punch off the clock at a certain time each day. He doesn’t take vacation or sick days. He is ALWAYS on the job. Thank God for the Holy Spirit!
In the first two posts, I shared that the Holy Spirit is on the job to prepare your spirit for the day and prepare those you will encounter in your day. Next, I want to recognize that…
The Holy Spirit – Gives the “Know-How” Throughout Your Day
Here’s a startling revelation – we are limited in what we can accomplish. Really? Yep, really. The apostle Paul knew that for he said, “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves.” (2 Corinthians 3:5) Relying totally upon our experiences, talents, and skills can only carry us so far. We will often find that there are situations where we are clueless on what to do or not do. When asked, the Master Teacher will come to our rescue to reveal heaven’s insight into the situation. He will even bring back to our memory things that we’ve long forgotten that bring clarity to our present circumstances. But, remember this. The “know-how” comes as we ask.
