Thank God for Post-it Notes. They are a Texas-size help in enabling me to remember key thoughts during telephone conversations, what groceries to buy at the grocery store (Vickie will say an amen because without the notes I usually come home with just Cheetos, Blue Bell ice cream, Dr Pepper, and Double Stuff Oreo cookies), and the street address that I’m looking for while I’m driving. Now don’t look down your nose at me. You’ll have to admit that Post-it Notes are a big help to you too!

Let me make a suggestion for another usage of the Post-it Note that will totally revolutionize your children and your children’s ministry. Get a Post-it Note and write down the following powerful promise.

“I will pour out my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring.”
Isaiah 44:3

Better yet, while you’re at it, why don’t you make additional notes using various translations like these …

Isaiah 44“I will pour out my Spirit into your children and my blessing on your descendants.”
Isaiah 44:3 (New Century Version)

“I will pour out My Spirit on your children, and will bring good to your children’s children.
Isaiah 44:3 (New Life Version)

“I will pour out my Spirit on your children and grandchildren – and let My
blessings flow to your descendants.”

Isaiah 44:3 (The Voice Bible)

After you make the notes, place them in strategic places around the house (refrigerator, restroom mirrors, computer monitor, etc.). Saturate your home with these notes that will remind you of this unwavering promise. Then, every time that you see the Post-it Note, read the promise aloud and boldly remind the God who has never and will never lie (Numbers 23:19; Hebrews 6:18) that your children (personal and in your ministry) are included in this promise. With great confidence announce that God’s Spirit is at work in each and every child TODAY because God said “I will …”. Nowhere do you read God say “I might …” or “There is a possibility that I can …”. Without condition, God said “I will …” and that’s good enough for me!

Remember … TODAY is the day of the Holy Ghost. Based upon the integrity of God’s Word get excited. Know that each and every one of our children will get to be filled to overflowing with God’s Spirit!!!
