I realize that I mention our Ignite the Supernatural Conference from time to time in the blog posts. With the blog’s readership reaching into some 60 nations, there are many people who haven’t attended a conference and perhaps aren’t familiar with what happens at a conference. And so this week, I want to deviate from the usual teaching and share a little about these conferences.
Several years ago, I sensed the prompting of the Holy Spirit to help usher in a Holy Spirit renewal in children’s ministries across this nation and the world. With children’s ministries dependent upon formulas and facilities, there was an urgent need for a voice that would stir a Holy Ghost hunger in these powerless, empty ministries. Within Pentecostal/Charismatic churches, we saw the need to train and equip children’s pastors and volunteers to flow with the Holy Ghost and then send them back to their churches ignited with a new anointing.
How are we doing this? Vickie and I travel both nationally and internationally and conduct Ignite the Supernatural Conferences. In addition to conducting a national conference, we also conduct both two-day regional Ignite the Supernatural Conferences or one day local Ignite and Unite Conferences. What is the difference between the two conferences? In the regional meeting, 10 workshops and 3 general sessions are provided in a conference that is open to churches from around the region. In this conference, we teach workshops such as Leading Children into the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, Passport to the Supernatural, Keys to Unlocking His Presence, and Power-Packed Preschoolers. The Ignite and Unite Conference is offered for the local church children’s ministry with three general sessions designed to unify the vision and passion of the children’s ministry team and ignite a Holy Ghost fire within the ministry.
Just this past week, Vickie and I conducted an Ignite the Supernatural Conference for the Guyana, South America Assemblies of God. I wish that you could have been with us in Georgetown. It was one of the most powerful conferences in my 34 years of ministry. God showed up. Through the preaching, teaching, and personal ministry (see the accompanying pictures), the Holy Ghost echoed the words “TODAY is the day of the Holy Ghost” over and over again. Some 270+ individuals from 5 nations received both revelation and an impartation that we believe will impact churches all over that area.
Do you want more information about the possibility of hosting either a regional Ignite Conference or a local Ignite and Unite Conference? Send me a note and include your name, church name, city, and a telephone number and I will contact you as soon as possible.
