Revival

16 Dec A Move of God

In E.G. Carre's Praying Hyde, Apostle of Prayer, there is a quote by Charles Finney that says “A revival is no more a miracle than a crop of wheat.” In other words, moves of God don't just happen. There is a preparation on man's part in order to see the harvest. In 2014, Vickie and I left a ministry position in a church so that we can travel from church to church to initiate the “man part” of a move of God. I love to call our “man part” as being a door opener for the Holy Spirit. The results of our Holy Spirit Rallies and Ignite & Unite Conferences is that people are touched by God's power and churches are changed. We would love to see this happen in your church. Would you speak to your church leadership and ask them to contact us? We are just a phone call (561.827.9325) or email (billy@billyburns.com) away. ...

31 Dec 2019 – The Year of a Great Outpouring of God’s Spirit

Happy New Year!!! 2018 is history and ahead of us lies a year that I believe will see an unprecedented outpouring of God's Spirit. I believe that all across our land, we will hear people declaring "This is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel." Hallelujah! Vickie and I want to work together with the Holy Spirit to see this happen in your church in 2019. We can do this in two ways.1. Holy Spirit Rally - In these rallies on Sunday mornings, I give people an opportunity to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. I love seeing the altars filled from side to side with people wanting to receive the promise of the Father. When allowed to have more than a Sunday morning service, I love to preach that there is more than an initial infilling. Be it on a Sunday night or Sunday through Wednesday, our Holy Spirit Rallies direct people into developing a relationship with the One who is called to walk alongside of us.2. Ignite & Unite Conference - This 3 hour Saturday morning conference is designed to ignite the fire of the Holy Spirit in those who minister each week to your children and youth and unify the vision of the entire team. The workshops taught include - The Dangers of the Status Quo, The Holy Spirit on Assignment, Leading Preschoolers into His Presence, The 10 Commandments of the Supernatural, and Flowing in the Anointing. Vickie and I wrap up the conference by laying hands on and praying for each person that attends.  You notice that I haven't mentioned a required fee or contractual agreement. For almost 40 years, we have ministered with the understanding that God is our source and that He will speak to the congregation as the offering is received. For all of these years, God has proven Himself faithful. 2019 is your year! Your city! Your church! Your ministry! I am just an email (billy@billyburns.com) away. Let me hear from you TODAY! Again, happy New Year!!! ...

18 Jun Here’s What God Said …

I know that the following statement will challenge some people's theology but I'll share it anyways. While Vickie and I lived in South Florida, I remember a time when God clearly spoke to me while we were sitting in a movie theater (some people will stop reading after that statement) watching the seemingly endless coming attraction previews. I will never forget Him telling me that I was to start announcing at the opening of our services the coming attractions for that service. When I heard this directive, I had been in the ministry at least 25 years and had never, ever heard anything like this before. In my early days of ministry preparation, there was no class at my Bible college called Ideas Gleaned from a Movie Theater nor was it taught at any children's ministry conference. Heaven was directing me to walk into the service with a confidence that I had heard from heaven and, at the beginning of the service, boldly announce what was going to happen during the service. Here is what you can expect to happen when you make coming attraction preview announcements. First, this will build faith in your spirit as you confidently proclaim what God has shown you in your quiet time with Him throughout the week. Your spirit will feel like a Texas cowboy sitting in a rodeo chute on top of a bucking bronco waiting for the chute's gate to open. You can be confident that something memorable is about to happen! Second, it will build anticipation in those in your service because Jesus is both the author and finisher of our faith. God always delivers what He promises! So, if you are preaching about healing, confidently announce at the beginning of the service that the Healer is in the room and will heal all the sick and infirmed. Then, preach/teach and flow in the anointing. The results will be Jesus being what you have previewed and then preached Him to be. One more note ...
