Here’s a new name for the Holy Spirit. From now on, you can refer to Him as being the Five W Holy Spirit. I received this insight earlier this week when I was meditating on this scripture …
“The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity], to proclaim the accepted and acceptable year of the Lord [the day when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound].” Luke 4:18-19 (Amplified Bible)
Here is what I mean about the Holy Spirit being the Five W Holy Spirit. From Luke 4:18-19, we can see that He …
IS Who is needed … Jesus identified the Five W Holy Spirit as the source of His anointing.
PROVIDES THE ANOINTING FOR What is needed … The Five W Holy Spirit always had exactly what was needed. You never read of Jesus telling an individual that He was fresh out of heaven’s supernatural resources to provide for a need. Healing needed? Healing power provided. Deliverance needed? Deliverance power provided.
PROVIDES THE ANOINTING When it is needed … As the need presented itself to Jesus, the Five W Holy Spirit would always instantly anoint Jesus to address that particular need. There were no exclusive “specialty” days. For example, there were no …
* Sock It To The Devil Sundays making Sundays to be THE one and only day of the week that Jesus would/could deal with demons,
* Miracle Mondays making Mondays to be THE one and only day of the week that miracles would/could take place,
* Teaching Tuesdays making this THE one and only day of the week when anointed teaching would/could only be done,
As a person with a need came to Jesus, He, through the power of the Five W Holy Spirit, instantly had exactly what was needed exactly when it was needed. ANY day and ANY time was the right time.
PROVIDES THE ANOINTING FOR Where it is needed … Healing needed in Bethlehem? No problem. The poor in Nazareth needed the Good News? No problem. The Five W Holy Spirit was readily available EVERY where.
REMINDS US Why it is needed … Without the anointing of the Five W Holy Spirit, no ministry would/could have taken place.
One more thing about this Five W Holy Spirit. What He did through Jesus, He is ready and willing to do through today’s believers. Oh, let me modify that last statement. He is ready and willing to do greater things through today’s believers. (John 14:12). Thank God for the Five W Holy Spirit!
