Just in case you’ve missed a recent blog post, for the past few weeks, I have borrowed an idea from Mary Poppins and shared a few of my favorite things. I’m referring to some of my favorite posts from my Billy Burns Ministries Facebook page. Three weeks ago, I shared a few of the Holy Spirit Realities that appear each Tuesday. Two weeks ago, I shared several of the Benefits of Speaking in Other Tongues that are published each Thursday. Last week, I shared a compilation of what I call Billyisms (things that only my brain would think of) that I post each Wednesday.

This week, I want to share a few of the quotes that I have posted on Mondays. These quotes are presented to fan the flames of your passion for the Person and work of the Holy Spirit. In these posts, I share the picture of one of my spiritual heroes and a powerful quote from that man/woman of God. Here are just a few of my favorite quotes …

  • Reinhard Bonnke – “If we preach the original gospel, we will have the original results.” (Quote taken from Holy Spirit: Are We Flammable Or Fireproof?.)
  • George Jeffreys – “As long as the gospel is preached and there are creatures to receive it, the power to demonstrate the supernatural will remain on earth.” (Quote taken from The Phenomena of Pentecost.)
  • Smith Wigglesworth – “When the power of the Holy Ghost is present, things will happen.” (Quote taken from Faith that Prevails.)
  • F.F. Bosworth – “If you want to know how the Spirit acts now, just read how He did act when He had full possession of the Church. The Book of Acts is a blueprint by which the Holy Spirit wishes to work throughout His dispensation.” (Quote taken from Christ the Healer.)
  • Kathryn Kuhlman – “He’s more real to me than you are.” (Quote taken from Welcome Holy Spirit.)

Here are a couple of quotes that will post soon …

  • B.B. Hankins – The anointing of the Holy Spirit will cause you to see your divine purpose.” (Quote taken from Success in Ministry.)
  • Howard Carter – The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is the gateway into the believer’s heritage.(Quote taken from Questions and Answers on Spiritual Gifts.)
