If you follow me on either my personal Facebook page (www.facebook.com/iambillyburns) and/or the Billy Burns Ministries page (www.facebook.com/billyburnsministries), you will often see me mention a just-published blog post and, in its promotion, the words “must-read”. I use these words not because I think that I am anything special. To me, it’s a must-read because the blogs are prompted by the Holy Spirit and are essential reads for those who want to follow after the Holy Spirit.
Today’s post is different. This isn’t just a “must-read” post. This goes further in that it is also a “must-have” post. Today, I want to share two resources that I am quite confident that you have never seen or heard of before reading this post. I guarantee that these must-have resources will fan the flames of your passion for the Person and work of the Holy Spirit.
- The Voice of Healing Magazine. For those unfamiliar with the Voice of Healing Magazine, it was begun to chronicle the healing revival of the late 1940s and 1950s in the USA. This magazine initially followed the ministry of William Branham and later expanded to add many of the ministers involved in the healing campaigns including Jack Coe, A.A. Allen, Oral Roberts, T.L. Osborn, W.V. Grant, and Paul Cain. These downloadable PDF magazines include powerful, anointed teaching articles by great ministers including Donald Gee, Gordan Lindsay, F.F. Bosworth, C.M. Ward, and David Nunn. Each issue is filled with incredible miracle stories drawn from these healing campaigns. One of my favorite articles found in many of the editions is the Questions and Answers Column. For example, here’s a question found in the September 1951 edition – “Why do some people who pray for the sick wear glasses?”. I’ll leave it to your reading to discover the answer. Oh, there’s another benefit in this tremendous resource. This website has both audible and transcribed William Branham sermons. - Revival-Library.org. This website is PACKED with incredible documents that tell of what the Spirit of God has done and is doing around the world. Among the many treasures on this website are revival histories, revival heroes, and revival resources. To me, the greatest treasure is the ability to purchase many long-forgotten, almost impossible-to-locate books written by my heroes including Maria Woodworth-Etter, William Branham, T.L. Osborn, Betty Baxter, and Gordan Lindsay. These books are available in a downloadable PDF format for a nominal price. The website for this resource is revival-library.org.
Please, please, please invest the time to check out these two invaluable resources. Your heart will be greatly stirred as you read the articles and listen to the sermons. Remember, if God did it once, He can do it again. If God can use these men and women, He can use you!
