Ready to see a miracle? A miracle? Yep. In less than two hundred words, I’ll summarize last Sunday’s message that took many, many words to share. I’ve got my word counter turned on. So here I go.

One of my all-time favorite scriptures is…

“Most assuredly, I say unto you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” John 14:12 (NKJV)

For us to do the same and greater kind of works, we need to see how Jesus did what He did.

Note – It wasn’t due to His deity. Philippians 2 tells us that He became as we are. The answer is found in this verse.

“Until the day in which He was taken up, after He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen,” Acts 1:2 (NKJV)

Jesus’s ministry was done “through the Holy Spirit”. Check the gospels. No teaching or miracles occurred until the Holy Spirit came upon Jesus. (Luke 3) Luke 4:18-19 and Acts 10:38 show His dependence upon the Holy Spirit. We can only do what Jesus did and greater “through the Holy Spirit”.
